Picture from 05-23-08 "Pacino" Pacha de Montes del Pardo @ 14 months with Hygroma right elbow
I thought I would include this picture of my late Pacino to educate others. You can clearly see his hygroma of which I chose to leave alone. Some people do have surgery to lance the swelling, but they can get infected and come back anyway. Pacino had his own bed and also slept on the sofa sometimes but as we know, they prefer the cooler floor sometimes. Towards the end it did start to go down on it's own. My advice to others is, Leave it alone it will go down eventually.

Hi Norma, here the vets suck the liquid out with a syringe , inject a antiflam/ cortisoid, and strap it for a day. Usually it should go away.

vets here usually don't recommend the operation because its a very complicated operation and a very tricky place to heal, as stitches open up, the dog would have to have complete bed rest for a few months! They say for something that is estetic its best not to operate.
